Get Involved is a Managing General Agent (MGA) dedicated to Surety Bonds, led by Joaquín Palma and Jon Aldecoa, executives with extensive, long-standing experience across the insurance, legal, and financial sectors.
Joaquín Palma López
Co-founding partner of Get Involved.
With more than 20 years of experience across the insurance and environmental sectors, Joaquín brings deep expertise in Surety Bonds.
His track record includes over 15 years as a financial consultant with a dedicated focus on this line. Joaquín has also owned an insurance brokerage primarily focused on Surety Bonds, with particular emphasis on renewable energy and construction.
In addition, he is recognized for his entrepreneurial and investment activities, including as founder of Grupo Stig and as an advisor/director to companies across sectors such as BChange (EdTech), Inhibitec (Health), Shankara Capital (Investment), and Stig Market Finance (financial consulting).
Jon Aldecoa Viña
Co-founding partner of Get Involved.
Jon has 20 years of experience in the legal and insurance-financial sectors. His career began at Grupo Morera & Vallejo as an attorney specializing in insurance and claims, followed by 14 years at Garrigues advising and representing numerous insurance companies.
In the financial sector, Jon served on the board during the incorporation and early expansion of Corporación Financiera Azuaga. He has also served as a director of a regulated credit institution (Castelo Capital, EFC), as well as of a SICAV and a SIL, and as a member of the investment committee of three venture capital funds.
Jon’s professional competence and business integrity have been assessed and validated by the Bank of Spain, Spain’s securities regulator (CNMV), and the Directorate General of Insurance and Pension Funds.
